Hair Infinity

The best thing about black hair is the flexibility it has. By flexibility I mean the different types of hair do's one can do. Unlike European hair, we are not only limited to cutting, high lighting and straightening our hair - that would be extremely boring.  On the other hand we have tons of options. Corn row with or without extentions, bonding and weaving with straight wavy short or long hair, synthetic or human hair. Relaxing or leaving it natural, braiding

Black hair is fun to work with because the world is your oyster - literally.  You can do whatever you wish with it.  The goodness of it all is you can go short and chick without even having to chop off your real hair.  You can have long flowing hair without the strain and pain of growing it for decades.  By just simply doing a weave on.  You can alter your look dramatically.

Im on that journey of discovery.  I have not been that experimental with my hair.  I have always preferred my good ol' natural hair.  Apart from the occational plaits once or twice a year.  I simply relaxed my hair, usually on a monthly basis.  This year however I have decided to be more adventurous and try different looks.  Since I am a DO-IT-Myself kinda person, you guessed it! I'm doing it all myself.  I will post pics of my experiments as they happen.  I will share the pro's and cons of the hairstyle as well as some tips when you have to do it yourself.

I know that you would rather get the pampering by getting someone else to do the leg work.  Or maybe you just dont have the time or you work so much that the mere energy to do your hair is just non existant. Non-the-less, I hope these blogs will be beneficial and informative to you either way.

Janet Jackson has been extremely flexible with her hairstyles - I personally think this daring short bob suits her the best.

2011 - The year of Fabilicious Hair!

Day 1 of 2011.  And I thought to myself, that it is high time that I activate this blog which has been lying dormant for a couple of months.

What I wish to accomplish through this blog is the following:  learning and experimenting and sharing the ravishing beauty of African beauty and Hair in particular.

Join me, in the year where we learn together and experiment together and in the process beautifying ourselves, inside out!
